Wilson takes Chase Race #2 at Dover!

Brenden Queen yet again was looking to put his stamp on the Chase and put a huge gap on the field heading into race 3 next week. Taking the pole, he’d lead almost the entirety of the first 99 laps. But…. this is why we play the game, as a couple cautions at the tail would throw everyone for a loop. Shane Ewing had pitted earlier, and was utilizing his good tires to move through the field, but with no tires left on pit road, that put him in a tough spot on the final restart with Brenden Queen to his outside. Getting a good jump, he slid up in front of Queen, blocking the pass inadvertantly. This let Justin Wilson, Charlie Ryan, Josef Miele and Nick Leitz to jump by as well with Wilson flying out to a good sized lead. At the 4-to-go, Patrick Hahe would get into turn 1 a little hot and send it around, with Steve Bevacqua getting collected, ending the race under yellow with Wilson getting the victory from the 20th starting spot!
